Welcome to Misfit Ranch

About Misfit Ranch

At Misfit Ranch we strive to continue to improve the breed. We concentrate on fiber (staple length, crimp, luster, fineness, and consistency) and conformation. We love a variety of colors and final products from natural fiber. We do focus on grey and black alpacas and have several true black foundation females and a young medium silver grey herdsire that has 7 crias on the ground so far (2 light - medium grey males and 2 light rose grey females, 1 light silver grey female, 1 true black male and 1 bay black male) all have amazing fiber and great conformation!

The ranch is owned and operated by Cyndi and Mark Howard. Cyndi has been a registered nurse for almost 30 years and works as a clinical supervisor in home health for a large medical center. “We have participated in California shows and look forward to showing again soon!” Cyndi and Mark have had some wonderful mentors (well known in the industry) to guide them in their breeding program.
